With the goal of production-wide sustainability, I was able to create a highly textured world for this new and off-beat play by reusing stock scenery and foliage, seeking out rugs, clothing, and other decor from thrift stores, and by generating a community donations drive for other necessary materials.
"The black box theatre had been organized to have the audience in a traverse stage setup with the stage space in the middle....intended to appear like a terrarium with the audience as spectators on the outside. The effect was tremendous. Immediately, I felt the implication of watching helplessly from the sidelines"
